My first impression from reading chapter one is that this might be a Young Adult book which surprised me. I never normally think myself as someone who judges a book by their cover however after having now finished reading this, I realise I have fallen into that category of person. (This is not something that I am proud off by the way.) I have noticed that most y/a book covers have become very stereotypical of that genre and the cover of this book falls a long way from that stereotype which I am very glad for.
Initially I was looking for a completely different read form the last book I have reviewed, having only quickly looked at this book I thought it perfect…
